Izaak Hale

Creative Director (a.k.a. Brand Master Flash)

Where I’m from:
Born and raised in Miami, Florida – Carol City to be exact. I graduated from Design and Architecture Senior High (DASH) in 1995. I eventually went on to graduate from Miami-Dade Community College with an A.A. and Boise State University with a BFA in graphic design. I am also an Air Force veteran. I was a fuel technician stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base. P.O.L. HOOAH!

What I like to do:
I’m a health nut, so I exercise 5 days a week. I also love watching movies and hilarious T.V. commercials.

Favorite movie scene:
“You gon’ eat yo’ cornbread?” (Life)

Influenced by:
My colleagues, the pages of Print and HOW magazine, contemporary furniture design, the work of Neville Brody and life in general.

Something no one knows about me:
I have always wanted to learn how to play the drums.

Most interesting place I’ve been:
Bahrain, where one out of every three cars on the street is a BMW.

Favorite design function:
WHITE SPACE. Clean and simple design is so under-rated.

What I want to be when I grow up:
A designer who has his own design publication and a 24-hour gym. ONE MORE REP BABY!!!
